I am so very sorry to hear of "Moose's" passing.  He was one of my very best friends and the best man at my first wedding in 1972.  He broke my ankle once in a pick-up basketball game once when he came down on it.  He was a monster of a human but a lamb of a soul.  I once saw him defuse a potential barfight at "the Stein Inn" by picking the antagonist up by the front of the shirt, putting him on a barstool and buying him a beer.  He and Eric and I did a great adventure drive across the USA in 1968 just before I got drafted and went to Viet Nam.  Moose was great friend to me and to my family while I was overseas.  Our parents were close and he is and will always be a big part of my life.  I visited him in FL and he visited us in AZ.  In recent years I regret that politics got in the way of our convesations but it never got in the way of my love for him.  RIP old dear friend I will always remember you and treasure your friendship.
