One of the nicest boys I ever knew from grade one all through high school. His cousin Dottie Beals, Tiny Morrow and I were a frequent foursome in the 6th grade. Dancing to 45's in Tiny's basement was a special treat for us. Wish I'd known Johnny better as a grown man.
John and I were close friends growing up and into the early years of high school. Both of us loved sports, and spent many hours swimming in lake Archer and being outdoors playing sports.
John was a great all around athlete and my regret is that I didn't keep in touch with John after high school. Many fond memories of our times in grade school and high school.
